Terms of Service

Last updated: July 22, 2026

These terms govern your use of Thelxis, a macOS application that rewrites and translates selected text. By installing or using Thelxis, you agree to them.

The service

Thelxis lets you transform a text selection through a language model, either a local provider you configure or the hosted Thelxis Cloud service. Results are generated by language models and may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing any output before you rely on it or replace your original text with it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Your content

You retain all rights to the text you transform. You grant us only the limited, transient right to process that text to produce your result, as described in the Privacy Policy. We claim no ownership of your input or output.

Disclaimers

Thelxis is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that output is accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimonRen and Thelxis will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes & termination

We may modify or discontinue the service, or update these terms, at any time; material changes are reflected by the date above. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms. You may stop using Thelxis at any time.
